The Season of Faithful Witness
From Ash Wednesday through the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Season of Faithful Witness brought Catholics across the country together in prayer, formation, accompaniment, and faithful public witness during a moment of significant pastoral concern.
The Season was a shared effort of Catholics in Communion, a collaboration of Catholic social ministry organizations, religious communities, academic leaders, and parish partners committed to strengthening the Church’s public witness and accompanying pastoral leaders and communities as they discern how to live out the Gospel in public life.
Although the Season has concluded, the relationships, local leadership, and shared commitments it helped cultivate continue. Grounded in Scripture and Catholic Social Teaching, Catholics in Communion is carrying this work forward by fostering works of mercy, deepening spiritual and leadership formation, and supporting prayerful action that upholds the dignity of every human person.
This continuing work is nonpartisan and rooted in the Church’s enduring commitment to the common good, a consistent ethic of life, and the sacred dignity of all God’s children.
